  1. Awesome job lip syncing to the lyrics! I think you integrated the piano playing well with the plot of the story.

  2. Great editing to match up all the shots with the lyrics. I also enjoyed the color slowly coming back throughout the video. Well done!

  4. Fantastic editing, the colors are amazing I LOVE the red on the black and white, you gotta teach me how to do that :P The yellow bench is a bit distracting though. The shots of John playing the piano was awesome, I felt that the heavy synth part should have been m ore story focused and less piano focused though, was a little distracting. Camera shots were a little shaky but the subject matter of them was very well done for the most part. Over all a very enjoyable video to watch.

  5. I love the editing in this. Very fitting to your concept. The side by side frames is very nice and keeps you connected to what is going on. Good work.

  6. I think the portions of him lip-syncing were great and very well done. I enjoyed the overall story. The change from the original pitch made the story much easier to follow. The rose did confuse me in some parts because it would just pop up!

  7. I love that you choose to lip sync to the music!! I also love the editing and color correction to this video, it really makes the rose and rose pedals stand out! The clips at the end during the credits were awesome!

  8. This was incredibly well-realized. It fits with your original concept and pitch so well. THe amount of variety on the orientation and layout of the shots is magnificent.

  10. Great job with the acting and editing. I felt you guys totally pulled off your pitch and did some fantastic work. I will say there were a couple of the shots that you could tell were on a tripod because of how the frame jerked around, other than that it was really fun and entertaining.

  11. The lyrics were synced really well, it looked like the piece was actually being played on the piano, the color choices worked really well, and the variety of shots for the rose was nice. There was one shaky shot of a pan and tilt up to the bench which jarred a little bit but otherwise well done!

  12. Awesome job! I love love love how you sold that fact that John was playing the piano and singing when we know that he wasn't. That totally sold it for me. Some of the camera shots were very jerky and that made it a little distracting. However, I thought that the story line was good and I really liked the song. I also liked how you got creative with making a sort of mosaic out of the different shots near then end and then slowly turning them from black and white to color.

  14. Sooo good! Your storyline was very clear. I remember during your pitch, you had some things involving the story that you needed to clear up and develop more, and you all did great with that. I loved the editing technique too!
The only critique I have is that some of the camera movements were jerky.

  15. I loved this video, I knew you weren't singing but by the end I was believing it. The idea to have the 2 separate people that seem to have no connection meet at the end was great. Great editing, the multiple shots on scene together worked really well. I know you had trouble shooting this but it didn't show. Great job.
